By now, many of you have returned home from and enjoyed the first couple of tours that are slated for 2024. Of course, more tours are on their way. I am looking forward to seeing everyone—both old friends and meeting new ones. Be sure to check The Bulb Horn calendar, The Touring Chronicle, and vmcca.org for the latest events.

I’m making a plea to our members to consider chairing a tour for 2025 and beyond. There are many areas of this wonderful country of ours to see and enjoy (New York State, New England, Midwest or Northwest, etc.), and you could be the one to show it to us.

If you are unsure how to proceed, don’t be afraid to raise your hand and volunteer. Those who have done lots of tours will thank you for giving them a rest. However, I’m sure they will also be willing to give helpful advice to get you going.

So, please, give it some thought. Give it a shot. Volunteer.

Trisha Copley,
VMCCA Activities Vice President
