Tour Highlights: ......and much more to enjoy

When you come to Holland this September,   you will have a great experience of the lifestyle and charm of this area.    Take a peak at the Holland website.  You will be able to try on and perhaps purchase your very own Wooden Shoes.  Windmill Island Gardens offers the only authentic Dutch windmill operating in the United States.  You will not be disappointed.

Want excitement all in one place?   Then it’s the Air Zoo in Kalamazoo.   This is where you will  need to sit down, strap in, hang on and get ready for a great time.   Experience a breathtaking 4D theater that takes you on a World War II mission.  Have the opportunity to see more than 50 historical and rare aircraft.  Enjoy many amusement park style rides and pilot a flight simulator.

A visit to an historical firehouse displaying a Silsby steamer and horse drawn chemical wagon will take you back in time during a coffee break.  This  fire house has several floors of period furniture and fire memorabilia.

How about a ride and hobo lunch on an historical train?   There’s a visit to a museum that includes the Del Shannon monument and exhibit, and railroad artifacts.

Offering a world-class collection of nearly 200 vintage cars in a unique rural facility and in restored historic barns is the Gilmore Car Museum.  You can take a picture with your car  in front of an old gas station and enjoy an ice cream sundae in an old diner.

In South Haven, visit the maritime museum  along with art galleries, antique shops and much more.  Saugatuck will “wow” you with drives along Lake Michigan and the sand dunes and where you’ll find that Art is a way of life

Nice back country roads, mostly flat.  Drivers that bring their Brass car from 1903-1913 for 1st time will receive a Cloisonné Badge, as these cars are those of the original Glidden Tours.
